Issues I Face is a place where everyone is welcome — baggage included. Through publishing honest and raw personal accounts of anything from loneliness to sexual abuse, it’s a space to let people know they’re not alone, no matter what they’re going through. Each reader has an opportunity to talk confidentially with a mentor, who will then provide ongoing support and encouragement. We all need people on our side.
Although Issues I Face is maintained by P2C Digital Strategies, all our content on this site is geared towards a non-Christian audience. Issues I Face is all about starting safe, respectful conversations with people from diverse backgrounds. We don’t want to have the door closed on us by being too overtly Christian upfront. By emphasizing the journey and the struggles we have in common, we've found that more readers are willing to engage in a conversation with a mentor, which is the ultimate goal of our site.
You are someone who isn’t afraid to get vulnerable, who’s at ease with writing about the difficulties in life. You’re a disciple of Christ who is comfortable writing for a non-Christian audience, leaving the biblical answers and spiritual discussions for mentoring conversations.
You can be eloquent and creative without sacrificing clarity. You understand that because many people read from their phones, you must be concise and immediately grab your readers' attention. It gives you life to encourage others through sharing your own journey.
